The “P” Word

Exhilarating .. Invigorating .. Uplifting .. Exciting..

Christmas? Ha, yes but this is also how I felt when I started training to be a Pilates Teacher. I'm Carrie and I'm a Junior Pilates Teacher at Stourbridge Pilates Rooms, a friendly Classical Pilates Studio tucked away in a quirky little town called Stourbridge in the West Midlands. In this blog I'm going to tell you all about the rollercoaster ride of training to be a Pilates Teacher; the funny bits, the exhausting bits and the 'yes, I cracked it' bits.

We'll explore exercise routines for the Cadillac and Electric Chair, how going up front on the Wunda Chair tests your confidence in heights as well as your stomach strength and how circling your leg in the air while laying on a mat is easier if you pretend your bottom is glued to the floor!

Join me while I learn this wonderful way of exercising and you'll be surprised at the difference it can make to your life.
