Hydration 101: Finding your Flow in the World of Water!

Water is the ultimate workout partner! It's not just about staying hydrated; it's about finding the right flow to complement your Pilates practice. Becky’s been learning all about water in her Healing Diets Diploma so in this blog we will delve into the world of H2O to explore how different types of water can keep you refreshed and energized during your Pilates sessions.

💧 Purified Water: The Clean Slate

Purified water is like a fresh start. It's been through a detox, just like you after your internal shower Pilates workout. Say goodbye to the toxins found in our tap water. There are many ways we can obtain purified water:

Filtered Water: The Balanced Blend

Filtered water is the perfect balance. Just as Pilates works on your body's equilibrium, filtered water strikes the right balance between purity and taste. Easy to do at home with a jug or bottle filter but make sure you replace the filter regularly and store in a glass bottle.

☀️ Distilled Water: The Detox

Distilled water is your detox. Most impurities have been removed so it may challenges your taste buds but a little restructuring with minerals, and you're ready to roll.

🔄 Reverse Osmosis: The Thorough Tonic

Reverse Osmosis water is the thorough tonic your body craves. It flushes out up to 99% of impurities, even Chlorine, much like your Pilates practice flushes out stress and tension. Again, remember it needs a bit of restructuring.

🌿 Spring & Mineral Waters: Nature's Gift

Spring and mineral water are as natural as Pilates movements. It flows straight from the source, bringing you the purity of the great outdoors. Look for glass containers to preserve its essence.

💦 Soft Water and Hard Water: The Yin and Yang

Soft water is like the flowing movements of Pilates. It's kind to your skin, much like a Pilates class is kind to your body.

Hard water, on the other hand, is robust and filled with character, just like your passion for Pilates.

So, choose your hydration adventure wisely, Pilates lovers. Stay refreshed, stay motivated and keep the Pilates spirit alive with the perfect sip to match your flow.

Here’s to a well-hydrated Pilates journey!
